Abstract
|
|
|
Host range expanded recombinant virus, RecB-8 was selected from BmN-4 cells which were coinfected with Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus and Bombys mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus. The RecB-8 polyhedra are tetrahedron which
differed
from
that of wild type in shapes, and was appeared faster at Sf-9 cells than BmN-4 cells in the infectivity. RecB-8 virus was MNPV, larger size polyhedra, and had a lower electron density polyhedra, and incompleted polyhedra structure in infected
cells.
Upon
infection of Bombyx mori larvae with RecB-8, much immature calyx structures appeared in the nucleus of fatbody. RecB-8 DNAs from infected cells and larvae were exhibited identical restriction enzyme pattern.
